QuantFi is a young start-up headquartered in central Paris specializing in deep tech quantum computing software applications for financial services clients. Job Purpose:


  • Assist in the sales and marketing function for quantum computing (and quantum ready) software products for clients in North America, Europe  and Asia.

Job Location:

  • Central Paris, France headquarters.

Job Duties:

  • We are looking for talent to assist in our sales and marketing efforts to create Quantum Computing prototypes and algorithms for the finance industry (banks, insurance companies, asset managers, etc.)


This position is available beginning September 2020 as a 3 or 6 month internship for an an engineering or business student or recent graduate with an option to extend based on performance. The position may also become a permanent position to the right candidate at the end of the internship. 

Sales/Marketing Duties:

  • Successfully communicate Company’s value proposition to prospective clients, strategic partners, and capital providers.

  • Prospect new clients and new opportunities for the Company in both a proactive and reactive manner.

  • Assist in researching new company offerings such as training, internships, and academic partnerships.

  • Assist in leveraging relationships with leading universities in the research fields of quantum computing and quantitative finance. 

  • Perform research of the quantum computing corporate and academic ecosystems throughout the world, and survey their various products and services.

  • Work closely with technical staff of Clients to explain Company product solutions.

  • Perform follow-up and communication with primary Company contacts.

  • Assist in closing deals and other agreements.

Capital Raising:

  • Assist leadership in obtaining financing from various sources including business angels, strategic partners and venture capitalists.

  • Respond to requests for information from existing and prospective capital providers.


  • Our products are quantum computing prototypes and algorithms designed for use by financial service companies such as banks, asset managers and insurance companies.

  • Other products include “quantum ready” applications for financial service companies who are looking for a bridge from classical computing to quantum computing.

  • Other products currently under development include algorithms related to quantum machine learning for option pricing and cryptocurrencies.

Corporate Communications:

  • Represent Company at sales meetings either by conference calls or personal meetings (willingness to travel part-time is essential).

  • Responsibility for Company communications through emails, LinkedIn inquiries, newsletters, blogs and other industry means.

  • Responsibility to create and update on a regular basis slide decks and other sales-related materials to send to potential clients.

  • Coordination of industry events including conferences, seminars meetings with Company staff.

  • Management of Company website, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, sales software and other social media as needed.

  • Communication of results to senior Company staff.

Sales Tools:

  • Prospection through LinkedIn, emails, publications, attendance at conferences, personal networking, business exhibitions, referrals, and cold calling.

  • Follow-up: through SalesForce (or other sales management software), LinkedIn, emails, phone, direct meetings


  • Experience in Sales, Marketing and Communications is required.

  • Post -graduate training in computer science, physics, mathematics or quantitative finance is strongly preferred.

  • Training in quantum computing is a plus.

  • Strong skills required in website design and social media management.

  • Knowledge of SalesForce software is a plus.

  • Experience in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, etc. is required.

  • Previous experience working in a startup company is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and communications skills are critical.

  • Strong business competency in English language skills is required. Competency in French is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and think creatively is critical.

  • Ability to work remotely if preferred.

  • Willingness to chip in on many diverse work assignments as part of a team is critical.
